There is a local Taxi and Bus service. The Ferry Termonal linking Skye with the Outer Hebrides is 15 miles from the house.

There are many attractions on the island, Dunvegan Castle, Armadale Castle and Talisker Distillery to name a few, and of course the majestic Cuillin Hills, which can be admired from a distance or, for the more active visitor, explored in detail.
The Tourist Information Centre, a Swimming Pool, Tennis and Sqush Courts, Heritage Centre and Scenic Walks are available nearby and bus trips leave frequently from Portree visiting outlying parts of the island.
